Looking to a successful 2014, Vicky Santikos reveals to Natalie Hami how the properties are constantly kept fresh, as well as plans to tap into new markets.
TTG: Please outline your latest news and developments to TTG Balkans.
We are continuing the second phase of renovation to the premier building and we will be installing wooden floors and new doors throughout. We will also continue to develop our wellness programme for both hotels including YOGAqua, a new fitness schedule and wellness menu.
TTG: Are you interested in the Balkans market? If so how are you promoting to them? Are you in contact with any Balkan travel agents?
We are interested in the Balkans market and have been for some time now. We continue to work with companies such as Dertour, Intellekta and Aerotravel Romania and have guests visiting us from Romania, Serbia, Albania and Bulgaria through small, independent travel agencies.
TTG: Who are your current feeder markets and are you looking to tap into any new ones?
Our feeder markets include the UK, Sweden, Italy, Austria, Romania, Slovenia and Russia. We would be keen to tap into the Eastern European markets as well as Turkey, Spain, Germany, France and Benelux.
TTG: What is your focus for the remainder of 2013 and looking to the future to 2014?
We are looking forward to ending the season as successfully as it opened. For the 2014 season we are planning the renovations and arranging new wellness activities, as well as a new lounge area beside the beach which we are in the process of finalising.
