Regent Porto Montenegro has opened its doors to guests, revealing a luxurious waterfront property and an interior boasting Italian palazzo influences, blending nautical and local architectural references.
Designed by ReardonSmith Architects, Regent Porto Montenegro, Regent Hotels & Resorts' second property in Europe, features 51 rooms and 35 suites, and is said to be the first and only hotel in the Porto Montenegro super-yacht marina resort so far.
Located in the town of Tivat, guests can access the hotel through the city's airport as well as Dubrovnik's and Podgorica's international gateways. Helicopter transfers are also available from these two cities, providing views of the Croatian and Montenegrin coastlines, along with a personal arrival experience at the Regent Porto Montenegro private helipad.
Commenting on the new property, CEO, Regent Hotels & Resorts, Mark Lettenbichler said: "We are absolutely thrilled to announce the opening of the Regent Porto Montenegro, the latest addition to the growing Regent Hotels & Resorts collection.
"Our hotel, restaurants and spa will enhance what is already destined to be the new lifestyle destination in the Mediterranean."
All units provide breathtaking views, either of Boka Bay or the mountainous range of Montenegro, while all dining options offer sea front outdoor terraces. The 20m outdoor pool also commands uninterrupted views of Boka Bay, described as Europe's 'southern-most fjord'.
Moreover, Regent Porto Montenegro boasts what is being hailed as the largest selection of fine champagnes in the Balkan region, in addition to an extensive menu of the world's finest cognacs and whiskies.
Meanwhile, its lavish dining outlets serve various cuisines, some of which include dishes made from local and seasonal ingredients with Mediterranean flair as well as Asian-inspired tapas.
For those seeking a wedding location, unique product launches or meetings, the ballroom can be themed into a personalised setting and can host up to 200 guests with marina views.
The Regent Spa offers international- and Asian-inspired therapies and guests may also enjoy an indoor vitality pool, hammam, sauna, steam room, fully-equipped fitness centre and a juice bar for refreshments.
